The police will hold Emre Okay for three more days after he was arrested in January 2008 for allegedly “issuing fake documents and circulating a forged document” in Nicosia.

Emre Okay, a suspect who was wanted for “issuing fake documents and circulating the forged documents” in Nicosia in January 2008, was apprehended the day before when he attempted to enter the nation from Ercan Airport.
The police reported their conclusions concerning the incident in their court testimony. The offenses of “issuing fake documents and driving a fake document into circulation” were allegedly committed by suspect Emrah Okay, according to the police.
According to the police, the suspect was apprehended in compliance with the order of the trouble after being discovered the day before as he entered the TRNC from Ercan airport.
The police claimed that the investigation into the matter was still ongoing and that the suspect had made statements that needed to be verified and denied. During the initial phase of the investigation, the suspect requested to be held in police custody for three days.
Speaking in court, the suspect’s attorney asserted that his client was prosecuted for the alleged offense in Turkey and found not guilty.
