A heartbreaking incident took place at the Grand Sapphire Hotel in İskele, where a young tourist tragically ended his life in what authorities believe was a suicide.

On April 19, 2025, at approximately 6:40 PM, Ahmet Yıldız, a 31-year-old guest staying at the hotel, jumped from an upper floor of the building. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but sadly, he could not be saved.
