Turkey’s advanced unmanned fighter jet drone, KIZILELMA, is preparing for a historic flight. It will take off from Çorlu Airport in Turkey and fly directly to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). This journey will be the longest flight ever attempted by KIZILELMA, breaking its previous records.

The flight is part of TEKNOFEST, a major technology and aviation festival in Northern Cyprus happening from May 1 to 4. During the event, Turkish-made drones will showcase their capabilities. What makes this year special is that KIZILELMA will not be transported by cargo planes or ships. Instead, it will fly independently to the event, demonstrating its advanced self-piloting technology.
